Is it possible to save the VLC Playlist with relative paths and not with absolute paths as it is now, and further to open it with no problem on different machine with similar folder structure ?

Currently, the duration for displaying an image froma playlist is global: one for all displayed images. I would like to set up in a playlist the duration of displaying an image individually, for whatever image in the playlist.

While I can drag&drop an image into a playlist, I cannot open it via : Desktop VLC: Media->Open File/Folder . Is there a possibility to select an image format through the interface?

The interface of a Desktop VLC on a touchscreen connected to PC should allow more than a single left-button emulation of a mouse pointer. Ideally multi-touch with various gestures should be supported.

Im running a RPi OS with a touchscreen. I couldnt find a way, if VLC supports a touchscreen (with multitouch) ? I can only simulate mouse gestures. However, this is quite insufficent. For example, when running in Fullscreen mode with a minimal interface, either it reacts slow or not, to a double cli...

So it is probably not the file size, but the picture peculiarities

On a Raspberrypi 5.4.51 on a RPi3 Model B a certain jpeg image would not be played the whole duration.

What could be the reason for the misfunctioning ?

I have pictures shot as a panoramic (180°). Its size is greater than 20MB. Is this a problem for the VLC player to display it?

Or is it the geometry , or the reolution, number of pixels or what is the reason for not displaying it ?

Other programs, like image viewer are able to open the images.
