I have a PC, not a Mac. I open iTunes, click on the iPad icon, select File Sharing from the Settings Menu, then I select VLC from the File Sharing apps. Once the VLC documents show up that are currently on the iPad, I click on the Add Files button and select whatever new mp4 files I want to copy on ...

I don't use playlists but I have the same problem when adding video files now since the last upgrade. Has anyone developed a workaround for video files until this problem is fixed?
