Awesome thanks. Fortunately I can test on iOS too so will redeploy to that, but the device I'm testing streams from is an ethernet multicast device that I can't access from iOS. Watching for the UWP release!

Does anyone know if VLC for Android supports SRT (Secure Reliable Transport)?

The new version no longer sees any of the media files on my SD card. Go into Settings | Media library folders and check various boxes - go back out - then back in - and nothing has persisted.
