Thank you. I now see what that button is for.

That is an important part of setting the start and end points for trimming/clipping a piece of a longer video since those points are not necessarily exactly on a second.

How to advance frame by frame to cut an MP4 at specificplace

Say I have a lecture made up of text slides and video clips. I would like to update the lecture to insert small MP4s with clarifications. How do I position the "cursor"(?) "slide"(?) to cut/trim the file?

How to go to a specific time? e.g., minute 10 second 22

Apologies if this is such a newbie question.

How can I go to a specific time into a MP4 file. For example, I may want to go to 10:22 to cut/trim the file so that I can insert a new segment.
