After careful observation, SMBv1 connectivity with Windows Home not working using my iPhone. To rule out this issue, i used other file explorers and connectivity is working fine. Is it a bug in VLC?

Note: The same connectivity was working with Windows Pro however as per earlier inspection.

Thanks for the updates but If i may ask why is it not possible to achieve it now when same functionality is available in Android version? Being a software developer, I am just asking to understand the constraint.

Newly shifted to iPhone (iOS world) from Android. When I am trying to click randomly on seek bar it is not working. Although the same is working in VLC for Android. It is not at all convenient and only way to use seek is to click the pointer from current running position and drag forward or backward...

Yes this is a much needed feature to sort the videos by date on VLC for Android
