How will I know when the tvOS app has been updated? (I must travel to access the Apple TV, don't want to waste a trip)

Yes, silence. This is from a multitude of files, wether I do remote playback or SMB.

I gather from this forum that some people are getting VLC for tvOS to play sound through Airplay 2 to Sonos speakers. Why am I not able to? I thought updating tvOS to 13 would help but no luck. VLC passes audio to bluetooth speakers just fine, but not to Sonos. Other video apps are passing audio to ...

Similar issue for me with Airplay 2. ATV4k to Sonos One stereo pair yields no audio while all other video apps have no problem. Bluetooth plays fine.
