An update: Last night beta 9 was released by Apple: 10.15 Beta (19A573a) and it appears to have resolved my issue with VLC crashing when stopping a video or the video normally ending. I have gone through the release notes for 19A573a but have not found anything that points directly to a code change....

This just started happening in the latest beta of macOS Catalina 10.15 Beta (19A558d). Up until this time, no issues were seen. I get the window that the application has crashed. Here are a shortened version of the details in the crash window. Could not load them all. So far have not found a workaro...
