thanks. this is kinda strange because when i open it with VLC it automatically rotates correctly but then i am trying to upload it to youtube from that video and it uploads in its original horizontal mode. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a video that showed up horizontally and I need to rotate it; can this be done in VLC?

I took a video at a concert. It shows up horizontally except when I open it in VLC it shows . However I cannot upload it to you tube from VLC unless I can name it and save it in the correct format.
