I haven't tried live HDTV .tp streaming using VLC. But I can stream recorded 20mpbs MPEG2 .tp file via wifi-G. I'm not using VLC directly but my BTV uses it to stream. My video transcode setting in BTV is

WMV9 codec, 3000kbps, 960x540

It only supports it for reading

I assume VLC can only playback DVR-MS locally. Is there any chance streaming will be supported in the future?

The new version says it supports DVR-MS partially. Has anyone successfully stream HDTV DVR-MS file over wireless-G network?

I have a HTPC with ATSC cards downstairs but sometimes I want to watch the recorded shows upstairs.
