On my iPad Pro I notice that in settings I unselect play next.
Yet sometimes it will still play the next NEW video.
VLC 3.1.9 (325)
iPad Pro iOS 12.3

I also am waiting on this.
It is a shame that it is taking so long.
It is odd that it picks z-a as opposed to even newest to oldest...
I also find that it will Auto play the next NEW clip even though U don't have it tucked to do so in the settings
