I am running VLC 3.0.6 on Linux Mint 18.3 and the first DVD plays fine I remove it and put a second DVD in and vlc refuses to read it or playback anything and nothing I have tried will get the disc read despite the file manager and disks control panel recognizing the correct DVD.
