same issue for me on windows 10 and 1080p video, the video often stutter often just before new sub is displayed. very annoying

As I saw there are many of us having this issue, on different platforms. To be fair, I have to admit that this problem occurs to me not only in VLC bot also in other pleyer, but sincs VLC is my favourite I would like to fix it at least in vlc

Hi everybody ! I'm experiencing the same exact problem, in windows 10. the video goes smooth without subtitles, but when I enable them, I notice microlags when the sub's string appears. Lags aren't so big, but I notice them and it annoys me. CPU is under 10 % and memory is under 45 % so I don't thin...
