Can we work on the RAR/ zip issue as well? I could play files without having to unrar or unzip them. Now it just crashes.

So far, If I have the video groups set to none. it will only lay the first 500 files and nothing more. If I select any of the other grouping options, it plays all of my media library of a couple thousand files.

Is there a fix to this? I do not like my videos grouped.

So far, July 18th is working for me. Played 2 videos consecutively. No crash yet.

July 6th is the same again for me.

Is there a cleaner script or something I can type in terminal to maybe remove all traces of VLC an d try clean installing?

Does the crash happen when playing a random file or are you explicitly trying to open BluRay media (regardless of .iso or actual disk)? I tried 7 different files and it crashes at any random file. .mkv, .avi and .rar Now, they all play fine on much older versions. The only usable one I have current...
