Hopefully the update will fix browsing/playing from a Windows 10 box via SMB. It's been broken since the last update. It keeps asking for a username/password when anonymous always worked. Providing a valid username/password lets me browse but anything I try and play quits back to the menus after 1/2...

The update has now been pushed out... all 3 issues I reported are indeed fixed. Thanks again!

FYI, an update addressing all the three problems you found was just submitted to the App Store and will appear after review by Apple.

This issue should be fixed with 3.0.5.

Any chance you can push out the prior version so VLC works with SMB until you figure out the issue?

You should update the VLC app, I believe.

The update appears to be the issue.

Same problem here... Both my Apple TVs no longer show anything but 'Empty Folder' when connecting to either a Linux or Windows Share. Both worked prior to the 3/13/19 update. I can connect and play from VLC on my iPhone.
