The log file should be at the root of your internal memory (in /sdcard basically) and will be called vlc_logcat_(...).log

The end of the message should be "cannot be played" but the URL is too long for your screen I guess. You should provide some logs to see what happens.

I meant "uncheck", my bad as it's activated by default.

The nightly beta builds use SMB2 and 3, so this should be the standard and the Android app updated.

We tried some times ago and had 10 times the amount of complaints that we have now.

You will, once it's tested. We have almost one and an half year of change that have been used by almost no one so we have a beta test round to do before.

In Settings > Advanced, could you please try activating the "Force SMB1" parameter?

All of your 3 screenshots are in the main screen. You dont need any back button as the full app can still be navigated. You get one if you tap on an album or an artist though.

Could you try to go to Settings > Subtitles > Subtitle text encoding and set ti to Greek?

I'm not sure I understand. There is a back button in the album screen at to top left corner. Also the back button of your device should work.

Could you please share some logs? Reproduce the issue and then go to: Settings > Advanced > Debug logs. Then share the logs with the sharing service you prefer (Google Drive, Dropbox, pastebin...).
