umm end of the year almost any update on hdr? every other player still --please stay polite-- so only hope vlc remains

there is remote connection setting on plex server thats port for it

side question, vlc on apple tv 4k chooses full hd video track and i cant find option to select 4k track any way to do that?

yes you guys have done some ace job on tone mapping. i am really looking forward for your hdr renderer there are no apps which play hdr correctly on apple tv 4k currently.

vlc is inly player on appletv which plays hdr content in sdr and has pretty good color so please let me test upcoming hdr

Hi, the support for HDR is work in progress currently. The new version of vlc (not release for the current version) will be available this year.

is there any beta available ?

i asked for OSX, i thought apple tv was already ready

hello, i am trying to play 4k HDR content from osx to sony tv (KD65XF7096) but it doesn't recognize TV profile to start rendering in HDR any help ?
