The support for subtitles overlay ("[v] Overlay subtitles on the video" check box in transcoding profile) has been fixed in Converting wizard (Media > Convert/Save...) in VLC 3.0.4+. Otherwise you can use Streaming wizard (Media > Stream...) where you can edit the final stream output stri...
