Hello, everytime i open vlc v3.0.12, i get a warning popup telling me of the update 3.0.14 and i try to install it but i only get the download but it doesn't start the install

i managed it, i wasn't in the right directory but on the terminal, it blends the output messages of vlc and the video

i tried unset DISPLAY but the video gets played in the terminal.

is it possible to watch it in the window of vlc ?

i'd like to try the same experience as youtube fool's day 2010

is it possible to get the full command lines ?

i have two macs powerpc g4 (an imac flat panel and an emac) and on both since vlc version 2 (i tried 2.0.0 and vlc 2.0.1) the picture is purple with vertical red lines. this doesn't happen with version 1.1.12

i was using vlc version 1.1.6 (on mac os x.5.8 ) and now i am upgrading to version 1.1.7 and was unable to play a video in mpga and mpgv

i'm running vlc 0.9.9a on linux ubuntu 9.04 and i'd like to know if it's possible and how to modifiy the time of jumping forward and backward.
for example to change instead of jumping of +1 min or -1min to jump of +30 sec or -30sec ?

crocodudule is a little frenchy ?
