@unidan Was this feature investigated? Any chance it could be implemented?

I was hoping for a little more interest in this feature. To me, vlc remote control of the target renderer seems like a natural.

Please add the ability to select the VLC Playback Renderer remotely with a remote control app such as VLC Mobile Remote so it is possible to Chromecast content remotely.

I have the same issue.

I would really like to hear from the devs on this issue & when it will be fixed.
