fyi - I'm using VLC 3.0.8 in OSX Catalina now, still autoresizes the window on stop. Resize interface is still not in preferences on my machine.

I'm using VLC 3.0.4 and this is still a problem. There is no "Resize interface" option in the interface settings anymore. I'd really like to see this feature as well - I usually watch videos to one side while working on other things, so I like to keep the window to fit that space. Resizing...
