Hi, I'm casting Youtube videos via VLC to my TV, which has a Chromecast plugged into one of the HDMI slot. Everything works fine; however the video quality is rather blocky, as if the video has defaulted to 144 resolution. Is there any solution for this? (I know that I could use Google Chrome to cas...

I fixed my problem. I used an external Chromecast adapter. The in-built Chromecast of my Sony A1 OLED for some reason doesn't work as well as the 'real' Chromecast. Pretty disappointing, given it's a SOTA TV.

I also upgraded the youtube.lua file to the latest code.

ps - I'm aware this is the Windows part of the forum but I thought sharing my info would be useful as it should show that it isn't a problem restricted to Windows.

Hi, I have a similar problem to the above. The only difference is I'm casting from a MacBook Pro to an Android TV (Sony A1).
