Ok I clicked on a movie file draged it to recycle bin that got rid of it

When I Right click on a movie file and VLC a very thin long box shows up with arrows in it if I click on an aerrow , another thin box shows up with nothing in it you can’t get it to open wider how can I delete movies now I tried to restore the computer in earlier date and it’s still not helping I de...

Now can’t right cluck on file to deleat it use to be able to but now i get a thin rectangle box with few arrows in it box that I can’t click on arrows use to get options now I don’t

How come I right click on a file to deleate it but now a thin Rectangular box with tiny errors in it shows up and I cannot click and the arrows to delete the file I don’t know why this started happening on its own
