I've been doing some batch conversions, to make my videos all the same resolution/type/quality/etc. In the options, when you're only converting one video, it lets you choose where to put it, but when you're batch converting, you can only put it back in the folder where it came out of, and have to us...

I think what the OP means, because I'm having the same problem, is that VLC is not connecting to the Smart TV. I have a Sharp Smart TV, though, and am running Vista (Yes, I know it's outdated, upgrades cost money, unfortunately)

Pretty bad when you have to go on a completely different help site than the creator's to find the solution to the product's problem. Got it fixed, no thanks.
