Re: Blu-Ray Support

It's been a long time since I had to post here, as I was pretty solidly playing blu-rays using the MakeMkv method. However I got a few minutes in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, when this started happening: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12Mac6I-Y1XnuCJcMCYnjyXAfIsAc3NKj/view?usp=sharing This has n...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

Thank you, it worked without menus. It's a bit strange because every other bluray works just fine with menus, weird that only this one is affected.

Re: Blu-Ray Support

New issue, when playing any disc from the Star Wars The Complete Saga boxset I get the following problem. The player displays the message, your Blu-ray player requires an update, and I cannot play the discs. I'm using MakeMKV libmmd.dll as my libaacs.dll and libbdplus.dll libraries. Any ideas? I bri...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

This solved my above issue: Instead, I used the dll's from the current MakeMKV program installation (see this thread ). MakeMKV is a 32-bit program, so presumably the dll's from its installation wouldn't work in a 64-bit install of VLC (although I'm not 100% certain of this), hence the recommendatio...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

Every blu-ray I've tried has worked, however when it comes to the Firefly blu-rays I get the error message: This Blu-ray Disc needs a library for BD+ decoding, and your system does not have it. However, the BD+ encryption isn't a recent one, from 2008. (21:30:46 - BD+ : 1 - Date 2008.09.15 / Gen 4) ...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

Checked inside the Keydb.cfg, and all the keys had been added. However, a backup keysdb.cfg file had been made somehow, so have deleted that and will try the discs again

**UPDATE** After deleting the backup file, all blurays working absolutely fine

Re: Blu-Ray Support

I've managed to get 2 of my blu-ray discs to work so far, using the latest FindVUK and DVD Fab 10, however the next 2 I've tried won't work. How did you get the rest of yours to work? This has been very encouraging though :D *edit* Also, it looks like the FindVUK is working, this is what it shows: #...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

Hello, Nothing I've done can make my VLC run Blu-Rays. I'm using a Pioneer BDR-XD05TS, and know it can run dvds and cds. I used both the aacs installer and the newer keys, putting them in my Program Files/VideoLAN/VLC folder, and putting the appropriate files in the roaming/aacs folder. I have tried...
