I've been playing Xvid Avi's for several days now with no problems. If I have any in the future I'll be sure to report them!

The file in question is Xvid MPEG-4 Video, Stream 1 MPEG Audio Layer 3

After installing 3.0.4: Well (watching an avi) it doesn't crash anymore but every five seconds or so it stops play, goes black, then resumes with gray artifacts. Not watchable in other words.

Buggy driver -> disable fastest code path

I have the HD 3000 too with the same problem. How do I perform this? I'm sure it's documented but I couldn't find it. Thanks.
