I have done that but if I do the 2 finger tap it brings the controls back up but throws me 10 / 20 seconds forward and carrys on playing. Is there another setting I need to change?

Hi, I'm using VLC on iPad to play back MP3s. All works fine but as would be probably desired most of the time, the playback controls disappear after a few seconds. For what I'm currently doing, I want to pause / restart play a lot but each time I have to tap the screen to get the controls back befor...
