you know, I did just as you wrote ... and the same happened. And then I did as I had done previously - do not type the ip address from which the stream is received > 3) Under advanced options she types in udp://@[my ip address] leave it as it is udp://@ Of course, it does not seem good that it does ...

btw, did you try
http://people.videolan.org/~dionoea/vlc-plugin-demo/

what I forgot to mention - for me, when there is no stream or it is not started to play, the plugin in Firefox shows a black box with the text "(no video)". So far it is like in your case.

I recently managed to overcome (I hope) such problem on Windows by 1) unistall Firefox, VLC 2) install Firefox 2.0.0.1 3) install vlc 0.8.6, check plugins in installation. Btw, after that, those two files (npvlc.dll, vlcintf.xpt) are not in the Firefox plugins folder. And make sure that there is a s...

streaming to http and request the web page

hello

If streaming goes to http, I receive it with vlc player ok. BUT - I put the ip address of the streaming computer in the web browser, and it returns:
404 Resource not found(/)
VideoLAN

I would rather prefer "The page cannot be displayed..."

Could it be easily changed?

btw, in the line C2> $process = system("vlc udp://@:8099 -I dummy --sout udp://PC3:8099 &"); there is no 8080 as in [00000272] main input error: no suitable access module for `udp://@:8080' but we may guess that it is the input stream. Which port then you use? Maybe it is already in us...

I have MRL value in the form "http://x.x.x.x/stream1", where stream1 is the stream name. Should I add "/0,100,200,210 :http-caching=1200"? What are "0,100,200,210"?
