Please add VLC Andriod app on the F-Driod store. This way people can still download and get updates to VLC without going through Google Play Store.

Check out this feature request post I made. I am suggesting smart playlist support but the smart playlist is a file instead of being a built in feature into VLC

What are smart playlists? Smart playlist are playlists that scan through your library and will generate themselves without the user needing to add the songs to the playlists. VLC is the king of Open Source video programs. It supports tons of codecs and is loaded with features. What I have found is that there are no smart playlist files out there. Of course there are tons of playlists files such as M3U. But these playlists are only fixed playlists and not smart playlists....

VLC on Andriod sorts its videos by names. So if you have 10 videos named Big Bang Theory (ex Big Bang Theory 1, Big Bang Theory 2, etc) You will see a listing under the Video tab called Big Bang Theory and under there would be all 10 files.
