I can't reproduce with your file I'll have to try on windows.

It occurs when I've played a large portion of the file (maybe 5-10 mins) with the speed set to "faster" and then pause and try to rewind 10 seconds or so. In case this exact situation helps reproduce it

Issue still occurring. There's also a notable loss of accuracy in the play time of the player. It'll say 9:00/1:30:00 but when you hover over it it'll tell you that 9:00 is actually somewhere else on the bar. I've turned on fast seek and will see if that helps

I've also just noticed that while it is playing a recording the end time of the recording was moving up and down. i.e 1:05:18 would go up and down to 19 and 17. First time I've noticed this happening, so not sure if it has been happening before

I'm using VLC to listen to lecture recordings, meaning I'm frequently pausing and skipping back and forth as I make notes.
