hello, I try to play a divx on my pc with vlc and then put only the stream to my dreambox (set-top-box)over LAN. The dreambox have a linux-system. So the box needn´t to encode the divx, only play the coming mpeg. Is it possible with vlc? If it is possible, tell me how I have to do it. Thank you! So...

i forgot one thing when run vlc to playing stream, and choose stream media info i can see that to input arrives kB but in video panel decoded blocks, displayed frames ant lost frames all these are equal 0... maby problem with decoding?

I have launched axis 207 ip camera, and it works fine with axis stuff. It is configured to stream multicasting and when i run the camera over http http://camera_ip/view/index.shtml in status bar i see that "Playing, MPEG-4 using multicast RTP" but i can't get any video through vlc.. i run ...

So on server i run few multicast streams, for example these three: 239.255.255.255:1234 239.255.255.254:1234 239.255.255.253:1234 and on client computer when i run one instance of vlc player, i succesful open one stream of these (for ex. 239.255.255.255:1234), but when i try launch another instance ...

So on server i run vlc player, and run multicast over address 239.255.1.1:1234 for example, it runs fine, and on other computer i try to open network stream, add this address with port but everytime get error: Unable to open 'udp://@239.255.1.1'... why it could be? when i try unicast it works grate!...
