I use VLC exclusively because of the traffic cone.

I saw the QuickTime logo once, and immediately vomited.

Another time, I saw the MPlayer logo, and I immediately went outside and shot 3 people.

Pressing "pause" should show some progress meter, time elapsed, and total time. But it does not. I suggest that as a feature in the future.
