Would it be possible to add a way to download the cached media from VLC Apple TV back to a Mac via that HTTP interface?

How do you download content that is saved on the Apple TV's VLC "remote storage" back onto a Mac?

I have a video file that I transferred into the cached media on VLC on Apple TV.

Is there a way to do it the reverse way and access these on a desktop computer? You can send files to it, but you can't download those files back.

Honestly I would recommend purchasing Infuse which can do exactly what you are asking.

Infuse has PiP and uses VLC technology to play videos. How can they do it?
