Probably the best way is to enable File Sharing in the System Preferences of your Mac mini and to connect to it using SMB via VLC on your iPhone. For this to work, VLC does not need to be installed on your Mac mini as the File Sharing feature as well as its authentication are provided by the operat...

hello, i've batch of videos with separate srt subs files. the thing is that their names is not matching and because of that I need every time load the srt file instead of be automatically. There is maybe some script or something like that I can run at once and match the video and subs file at once? ...

trying connecting to my mac on the local network

i've mac mini with vlc mac app version installed.
also i've iphone 7 latest ios version with vlc app - i dont know how can i connect from the app to my mac. there is any guide for this?

in the past it worked and i be able to watch videos from my iphone that are located on my mac mini.

pls help
