OK, it's a server-side problem with OpenSubtitles.org. I'm currently contacting them to see if there is anything to mitigate the issue.

Wen can wee expect to be running?

Does VLC correctly recognize the name of the file? Is it showing correctly in the controller floater? or is some odd number? Everything is normal, I can see the mkv file with the correct name. I only notice that the icons show a little smaller but maybe is just my impression. The rest is normal. U ...

I can't search subtitles on vlc/opensub with apple tv4k, using Plex in local network/WD external HD myhome. The search don't stop and doesn't find nothing.This also happens if I transfer the video file to the internal drive of Apple TV.

In mi case with Apple TV 4 after searching subtitels in opensub they don't appear and I can't select them

What is your subtitle format? Is it SSA or bitmap or just plain SRT?

jus srt, and embebed subtitels in mkv file
