This happens when you set VLC to loop or repeat.

Ah ok thanks. Seems like a related bug but you have to kill VLC via task manager if you get stuck with this. It won't let you quit normally.

Not sure if this is even possible? I noticed after fast forwarding or rewinding a large video clip, the movie plays again for a little but then continues to re-buffer every 10 seconds or so.

Thanks for the update mfkl. Um it's a 43GB m2ts file..... Maybe I'll wait for the update to confirm if fixed?
