I can not get atmos working on vlc 3.0.3

I have this problem too. VLC 3.0.3 Vetinari
casting only produces blank screen with audio. I can hear the movie progressing on the TV, but no picture whatsoever.

Can not find switch or instrucs how to get out of thumbnail view. Watching TV episodes it is impossible to see which is which .

YES! Please! There must be a way to save playlists automatically by now. Does anyone know it? Have it remember where I was last session automatically? I think I've figured out how to get it to remember where I was in a movie file.
