I´m running Windows 7 currently but can reproduce the issue as well on the MAC. For Windows I can test that again with a more recent version. Which one should I test?

I can also reproduce the issue on a MAC mini (with macOS High Sierra and VLC 2.2.8 ). The colors are grey here as well.
