Previous AC3 files were working last year because my version was 2.2.1 with default settings (I have stereo system with S/PDIF (toslink) but with 3.0 release and higher even nightly daily 3.0/4.0 builds it didn't work with default settings

New 3.0.2 version don't fix the issue, the strident sound when launching a movie which contains AC3 audio is gone but the voice are barely audible with high volume only and we can heard a parasite sound in the background.

The settings are all reset to default.
