I have the VLC 3.0.1 If I play a video that has aac, it plays fine, but whan I play a video, (such as Star Wars The Last Jedi) that has AC3 audio, there is background sound but no voices. I have the VLC 3.0.1
For no reason, that I know of, the extra window opens.
This window has VLC (Direct3D11 output) on top.
How do I disable this?
I have tried several things suggested on the net, but nothing works.
Can someone Please help me?

I don't know if I am in the correct forum, but here goes.
I don't want the playlist window to open when I start a video. I only want to see the video. I don't want the playlist widow to open first.
Can anyone help? It only started doing this after the last upgrade.
