On iOS same problem , after updating VLC yesterday no stream info, metadata .. not from https://radiopatapoe.nl:8004/transit nor from any other stream ..
Someone mentioned radiocaster and using that to update his stream. Can that one explain what radiocaster did?

Happend to me too on an ipad2 ... Please repair or make previous version available please ...I just updated on my iPad 3 and now when I tap the network tab it crashes! How can I undo the update? This was one of my favorite programs.
