I could get my hands on a cable that is long enough for wired connection.
Wired connection works, but it might be because it has a different IP than the WiFi.

Hi, I just wanted to watch a flick via VLC (version is 2.5.3.6) on Xbox. Now it only shows my PC available with smb but not upnp, like it used to. The normal Xbox mediaplayer shows the upnp server and play the files, without subtitles. A fix, the option to downgrade, or a workaround would be great. ...
