The crash is taking place inside the Intel HD device drivers. Uninstall libvdpau-va-gl. That's a notorious piece of crap. Using Antergos, VLC v2.2.6-2 with Nvidia proprietary driver v384.59. I only see this problem with VLC, not with Totem and not in MPV. When I'm watching a video and drag the slider to skip to another part of the movie and release it, the video pauses for a few seconds...... then I get a weird graphic...
