Don't ask me why I need this, I just know that I do and it will take too long to explain. I need VLC to clear it's playlist and open a file after 100 videos from that playlist played. I am very new to scripting and VLC in general, so explain it to me like to a newbie

AFAIK you can't.
You can only use regular Youtube page links like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx

So, if I just leave the videos playing is VLC without closing it for like a day or 2 straight the links will just kind of go bad at some point and I am going to have to add them again?

You can't use direct links like that because they expire after a while.

How do i get the once that don't?

Um, so yesterday I made a playlist with a bunch of YT videos and saved it as an XSPF. When I open it today it won't play any of the videos in it.
