Same problems in VLC v4.0.0-dev. Replacing libadaptive_plugin with v3.0.8 works, also. In most cases the problem is excessive or maybe never ending buffering (due to some new buffering "logic" they added, I guess). In at least one case it's constant chunklist reloading, which is very bad. ...

Same problem in Linux. So, it's not 'Windows specific'. Some streams aren't being played, some are unaffected. The only difference I see is that #EXT-X-TARGETDURATION and #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE switch positions. I guess VLC can't find #EXT-X-TARGETDURATION after #EXT-X-MEDIA-SEQUENCE and is constantl...

Don't know if it's only just VLC for Windows problem, but nevetheless... I tried to run VLC media player in a minimalistic view on Windows XP SP3, and stumbled upon the following problems.
