No, these are videos recorded on systems that no longer exist. Many hundreds of movies. So sorry, I cannot record a 5 minute show. I have what I have. There won't ever be any more but I also don't want to lose the ability to play the 500+ recordings I have.

FYI, if I turn off hardware decoding videos that used to play that stopped playing, now play again.

These files are 4GB-12GB in size and contain copyrighted material, personal DVR of material such as that is protected and legal in the US just like a VCR was; however, I'm not sure that uploading those files would be legal and your site only allows 1GB files to be uploaded and the smallest one I hav...

Exactly. I have the same exact issue. Sad thing is you posted this several months ago and no replies. Is VLC for iOS dead? It's almost a year old in the App Store and clearly no one is supporting it here.
