Struggling to copy videos onto iPad from Mac (Big Sur 11.5.2)

I'm really struggling to copy videos onto my iPad Air 2 from my Mac (Big Sur 11.5.2). I'm connected up by a lightning lead. Just to note:
I have updated to the latest iOS (13.6.1)
and VLC 3.2.11 (353)
I've tried a few videos and all seems fine.

Hi. Thanks for your response but I don't fully understand your response.
If a video file has AC-3 or E-AC-3 audio then the audio will play or not play please?

Is there an issue anymore with NO SOUND on VLC iOS due to losing Dolby rights (Or whatever it was)

I haven't updated VLC or my iOS on my iPad Air 2 for a very long time. The last time I updated VLC the audio completely stopped playing on it due to (Something like) VLC losing the rights to Dolby (Or similar). (Yeah I'm probably wrong on the EXACT reason here) Does anyone know if this is still so, ...

I cant tell you an app that does display in (What shall we call it "Native Resolution"?) but I wish VLC did (As do these others whose asked)

Every time I open a video using VLC on my 27" 5k retina iMac it always opens the video a lot larger on the screen than it actually is. So say with a 1080p it blows it up to about double that size, so the pixels are twice as large and the video isnt as sharp. How can I make VLC open a video file...
