I noticed that my home videos created using my JVC HD camcorder at 720p are losing many video frames per second in VLC. In just 10 seconds, 95 video frames were lost! Yet, the video files from my Galaxy s4 phone, which are at a higher resolution (1080p), don't lose any frames when played back in VLC...
