I'd recommend sticking with Fedora 23, which allows you to use the latest released version, VLC 2.2.4. There is no advantage in upgrading to Fedora 24 or Fedora 25 and you are forced to use the beta release VLC 3.0.0 on those releases. It would be nice if there was a way to uninstall VLC 3.0.0 from ...
