the way i have done it is to use the streaming wizard on the source computer, then go to the destination pc and open up streaming if that makes sense. I can control the file from the SOURCE pc no problems,but not from the destination pc . I dont have VLC here at work so i cant give you exact details...

is there any way i can stream from one pc to another and be able to pause, ffw, skip etc from the destination pc? im using a wireless network ( 1 end of the house to another) and sending digital tv programs i have recorded. thanks for any help
