under cygwin i don't see anywhere where i can downgrade to 3.3.1

hi all I try to compile vlc under cygwin. I just do a clean cygwin install. I unzip the contribe tar file in the /usr/win32. i put the bootstrap line that is mantioned in the compile.win32. type make and near the end of the make, i get this error: make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/vlc-0.8.4-test...

the best thing is if we can use all the dll and compile only our program e.g vlc.c


could this be done you think The D.J ?

look in the developper web page they have a readme.win32 that explain all of this.

no other media player on windows (free) can stream something to other computer. This is the only feature i use on vlc. and I did'n try the 0.8.0 offical version but i always have a freeze image after 1 hour or so. i have to reset all the thing to get it work again. but this is ther since 0.7.0 for m...

Your are bettter to see in some iexplorer news group for your problem. Here the average developper are on linux so iexplorer is not very interseting

i think in that cawee you need to use the http methode instead of the udp.

hi .. i always have this problem . I test it with many version and now the more recent one. 0.8 beta. and the problem still there. the client is a piii 866mhz, win98. over 10mbits network. the server is a amd 1600+

so if any one have any idea. it's very frustrating..

on wireless media is not easy to get good result. the transmiter of wireless is constant rate ..

HI try to stream my playlist file of video. when i stream one file all works great but when i try to play a m3u file, only the local computer see the video. isn't streamed.

my version is 0.7.2 and i'm on winxp.

hi everybody.. I have a amd 1.2 gig as server and a PII-350 as client. I want to be able to play xvid on the PII-350. I try it on windows 98 and vlc 0.7.2. on some xvid file the video play correctly but on other file the image isn't smooth. i would likt to know if it's possible to transcode xvid fil...

I ask the same question a couple of week and the answer is no. As long as vlc doesn't support rtsp output i thing the answer would be no.
